Veganmania w Krakowie!

Tym razem przygotowałam dla Was post inny niż wszystkie. W niedziele 6 listopada miałam przyjemność wziąć udział w festiwalu Veganmania, który już po raz 4 został zorganizowany przez Otwarte Klatki. Tegoroczna edycja miała miejsce w Forum Przestrzenie. Przez fakt, że było tak wiele ludzi, nie udało mi się zrobić zbyt wiele zdjęć. Postanowiłam jednak opisać dla Was to wydarzenie i podzielić się moim wrażeniami z całego festiwalu!

Najpierw kilka słów o Organizatorze festiwalu.
 Otwarte Klatki to stowarzyszenie, łączące ludzi, którzy chcą zmienić los zwierząt hodowlanych. Ich głównym celem jest zapobieganiu cierpieniom zwierząt, które traktowane są często w bestialski sposób.  Jeśli chcecie dowiedzieć się więcej zapraszam na ich stronę internetową >KLIK< lub fanpage na facebook’u >KLIK<.
Muszę przyznać, że uwielbiam takie wydarzenia. Mnóstwo wystawców, nowych smaków, a to wszystko w jednym miejscu! Jednak było kilka miejsc, które szczególnie utknęły w mojej pamięci i na pewno nie raz jeszcze je odwiedzę!

VEGE TOTU: to pierwszy roślinny foodtruck w Krakowie. Na festiwalu próbowałam Chrupiącego Falafel Wrap! To nic innego jak zawinięty w placek arabski falafel z dodatkiem rukoli, papryki, ogórka kiszonego i świeżego z kiełkami i sosami. Muszę przyznać, że zaskoczył mnie naprawdę wspaniały smak!! Oprócz falafela można było wybrać Wrapa z hummusem lub pasztetem roślinnym. W swojej ofercie VEGE TO TU mają również zdrowe i wegańskie smoothie! Gdzie możecie ich znaleźć? VEGAB: tak to nic innego jak wegański kebab! Do wyboru tortilla z hummusem lub fistaszkowa. Samo ‘mięso’ w Vegabie to połączenie tofu, strączków i białka pszennego. Oprócz Vegabów możecie spróbować również hot-dogów, lasagne i wegańskich ciast. Ale oczywiście każdy ma inny smak i fakt, że ja będę zachwalała może Was nie przekonać. pieRogi Vegan: tym razem wegańskie pierogarnia z Wrocławia zawitała na krakowski festiwal. Do tej pory nie mogę pogodzić się z myślą, że tych wspaniałych pierogów nie ma w Krakowie! Jakie smaki oferują? Pierwsze tradycyjne a’la ruskie, ale farsz składał się z ziemniaków i białej fasoli (cudowne), barokowe na słodko z dynią i jabłkiem prażonym (oszalałam, takie pyszne!), orientalne również były zaskakujące, a nadzienie to między innymi batat, marchewka i przyprawy. Hummus Amamamusi: tego lokalu chyba nie muszę przedstawiać. Krótko to po prostu miejsce, gdzie zjecie najlepszy hummus w Krakowie. Spróbowałam oczywiście wszystkich: klasycznego, z czosnkiem niedźwiedzim, z suszonymi pomidorami, ale moje serce skradł hummus z dynią! A najbliższym czasie muszę koniecznie wybrać się tam na śniadanie. KROWARZYWA: chociaż na festiwalu nie jadłam burgera w ich wykonaniu to przy okazji przedstawiania wegańskich lokali nie można ich pominąć. Nie skłamie jeśli powiem, że to jeden z najlepszych bezmięsnych burgerów jakie jadłam! Próbowałam stałego w ofercie cieciorexa i sezonowego kalafiorexa i oba były po prostu przepyszne! Mam nadzieję, że udało mi się zabrać Was w kulinarną i wegańską podróż po smakach w Krakowie i nie tylko. Niezależnie od tego czy jecie czy nie jecie mięsa, czy jesteście zwolennikami czy całkowitymi przeciwnikami kuchni wegańskiej, myślę, że każdy powinien chociaż raz spróbować tej kuchni. Dla mnie nie tylko ten festiwal, ale każda styczność z tą kuchnią jest nie lada inspiracją do tworzenia nowych przepisów. Kuchnia wegańska i wegetariańska otwiera przed nami zupełnie inne spojrzenie na kuchnię. Ale jak już wspomniałam wcześniej, trzeba przekonać się na własnej skórze co nam smakuje, a co nie. Tak z resztą jest z każdym produktem, nie tylko wegańskim 🙂
Mimo, że weganką nie jestem, wegetarianką również to ostatnimi czasy zupełnie zmieniłam swoje nastawienie do jedzenia mięsa. Aktualnie ograniczam jego spożywanie do ekologicznego drobiu i lokalnych ryb, ale nie chce nikogo namawiać na zmianę stylu życia. Mój cel to przedstawić Wam sposób przyrządzania smacznego jedzenia i tego chcę się trzymać.
